How Luxury Sneaker Designer Flyboy Nikki Makk Got His Start

It was 1989 when the Jordan 4s came out and after months of paying on his layaway Nikki finally got his Jordan's. Normally Flyboy's parents couldn't afford to get him all the name brand shoes he wanted, so instead he would daydream about them and draw pictures of them. Nikki was so fascinated at the Jordan 4s that he'd just sit and stare at them on top of their box. He was so inspired he drew a pair and took the drawing to school to show his friends. Shortly after, he began to design his own shoes and said that one day, he'd make his own shoes. Flyboy's classmates made fun of him at school, but he was so determined that he even mailed a design off to Nike. Young Nikki was rejected - they said they had their own designers. But that didn't stop him from trying; Nikki kept figuring out ways to make it happen until, years later, he finally had his own luxury sneaker brand named after his father. Dreams do come true...who would've ever thought?
